On January 7, GAC Group released its December production and sales report, revealing solid momentum toward the end of the year. In December alone, the group sold 187,400 vehicles, representing a 4.3% month-on-month increase. For full-year 2025, total vehicle sales reached 1.7215 million units, while retail (end-user) sales climbed to 1.8135 million units, highlighting improving channel efficiency and market demand.
Notably, GAC Group achieved three consecutive quarters of quarter-on-quarter sales growth in 2025. Fourth-quarter sales exceeded 537,800 units, up 25.56% compared with Q3, with the growth rate continuing to accelerate.

BU Reform and Strategic Partnerships Accelerate Transformation
In December 2025, GAC officially launched its Business Unit (BU) reform for self-owned brands. The Hyper-Aion BU is accelerating channel integration, aiming to exceed 1,000 sales outlets by Q1 2026, with coverage extending into fourth-tier and lower-tier cities—directly addressing industry-wide challenges in NEV channel penetration.
Preparations for the Trumpchi BU are also progressing steadily. In parallel, GAC has partnered with Huawei to create a high-end intelligent EV brand named “Qijing”, with the first model scheduled for launch in June 2026.
Overseas Market Expansion Continues at Full Speed
In 2025, GAC introduced five new models tailored for overseas markets and entered 16 new countries, including Brazil and Poland. By the end of 2025, GAC’s international footprint had expanded to 86 countries and regions, supported by more than 630 sales and service outlets.
GAC has also established five KD (knock-down) manufacturing plants in Nigeria, Thailand, Malaysia, Indonesia, and Cambodia, laying a solid foundation for localized production and long-term overseas growth.
Outlook
With accelerating NEV adoption, effective BU restructuring, and rapid global expansion, GAC Group is positioning itself for sustainable growth beyond 2025. Strong fourth-quarter momentum suggests the automaker enters the new year with renewed confidence and strategic clarity.
