The 29th Chengdu International Motor Show will be held from August 21 to 30 at the Western China International Expo City. As the leading and highest-spec A-level auto show in central and western China, this year’s Chengdu Motor Show takes Leading the Tide, Driving the New as its theme.

The exhibition covers 220,000 square meters, gathering nearly 120 domestic and international mainstream automotive brands and approximately 1,600 display vehicles. The show brings together domestic brands, luxury brands, mainstream joint-venture brands, and new energy vehicle brands, showcasing multiple global debuts, national premieres, southwest regional premieres, and new model launches.

BYD Han (new): A new flagship sedan equipped with fifth-generation DM hybrid technology and advanced intelligent driving. BMW New i3: Built on the Neue Klasse platform with an all-new design language and sixth-generation eDrive technology. Enjoy S9: Applies boxy design to a large SUV, exceeding Yangwang U8 in size. Denza Z9S: Introduces Dawn Purple colorway with minimalist design language. Maextro V800/V680: Promotes a grand design philosophy, targeting the ultra-luxury segment.
Three Key Highlights
1. Domestic brands going premium: BYD, Geely, Chery, and others集中 release 300,000+ yuan models, making a push into the luxury market. 2. Joint-venture brands fighting back with Chinese technology: Joint ventures are beginning to adopt electrification platforms and intelligent cockpit solutions developed by Chinese teams. 3. Huawei’s five brands all present: AITO, Luxeed, Enjoy, Maextro, and Stelato collectively showcase Huawei’s Smart Selection complete product matrix.
First A-Level Show of H2
